The French Tech Tokyo website is the official online hub of the French Tech scene based in Tokyo and Japan, bringing together companies, startups, investors, events and organizations.

This online hub will:

  • Facilitate introductions between French entrepreneurs based in Tokyo and French entrepreneurs willing to expand their business in Japan.
  • Provide visibility to startups founded by French entrepreneurs who are operating in Tokyo.
  • Reference public and private initiatives and organizations who support French startups expanding in Japan.
  • Be the entry point for Japanese investors, companies, engineers willing to explore new opportunities in France

La French Tech’s Director Kat Borlogan’s visit in Tokyo

La French Tech Tokyo was glad to welcome Kat Borlongan, Director of La Mission French Tech, during the visit of President Emmanuel Macron last week of June.

On June 26th, French Tech Tokyo's board had the opportunity to meet the delegation of companies accompanying the president in one of our French Tech Hub “WeAre Pacific”. We were able to exchange about challenges and opportunities for entrepreneurs and companies in Japan.

 We also had an entire French Tech Tokyo day on June 28th!

  • Morning: Introducing Kat to DMM.make, a long time partner with who we hope to organize valuable events for the community in the near future.
  • Lunch: Discussion with Kat and the French Tech Tokyo board about the orientations we could take.
  • Afternoon: Multiple sessions in one of our other French Tech Hub “Place2B” :
  • Meeting between La French Tech and Big French corporates based in Japan and how they can help the ecosystem
  • Interesting presentation on deeptech ecosystem in Japan, with the presentation of Hello tomorrow, Cabinet Office and UTEC.
  • Open networking event with French Tech Tokyo’s community
  • Evening: an exclusive dinners with VCs to exchange about VC ecosystem in Japan, to end this beautiful journey,

Digital Festival Tahiti 2019

The #DFT2019, Digital Festival Tahiti 2019, invites professionals, institutions, administrations, students and the general public to discover the positive innovations of Tech4Islands.

Come and explore the solutions of #Tech4Islands and discover the concrete applications of the latest technologies for the harmonious and sustainable development of our island societies, while respecting our identity and our environment.

On the agenda: conferences, round tables, workshops and an exhibition space on 5 themes - Smart Tourism / Circular Economy / Blue Economy / Public Innovation / Digital Inclusion. The festival will be held from 16 to 19 October.

Our Rendez-vous are open to anybody who is curious about La French Tech: Japanese, French, or any other nationality! So bring your friends, colleagues or partners, we would be happy to know more about you.
